Grace & Growth Newsletter

Updated: Aug 15

Dear Friends,

There are moments in life when we stand back in amazement and simply say, "Look what the Lord has done." This is one of those moments.

Over the past several months, we have watched God faithfully open doors that only He could open. Every answered prayer, every encouraging conversation, every generous gift, and every step forward has reminded us that this ministry has never been our idea; it has always been His.

As we look toward the months ahead, our hearts overflow with gratitude because Shiloh Operations has officially moved into the house where our ministry will begin! This is more than just a building. It is the beginning of a sanctuary where mothers and their children will find safety, restoration, hope, and most importantly, the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.

To every person who has prayed, encouraged, donated, or simply believed in the vision God placed on our hearts, we thank you! You are also a part of this story.

Our ministry motto continues to guide us every step of the way this year:

"God initiates. He sustains. He fulfills."

And we are seeing that truth unfold before our very eyes.

Building Hope... One Room at a Time

Very soon, construction will begin on the first phase of expanding the current home.

This initial project will create bedrooms for the mothers and children who will soon call Shiloh home. We would be incredibly grateful if you would join us in praying for this next step.

Please pray:

  • That God will provide building materials at the best possible prices.

  • For the safety and protection of every contractor, volunteer, and worker involved.

  • For wisdom as we make every decision throughout the construction process.

  • That God would prepare the hearts of the mothers and children He is bringing to us.

  • That He would guide us to those who need our help the most.

  • Most importantly, that every person who walks through our doors would encounter the overwhelming love of Jesus.

Every nail driven and every wall raised represents another opportunity for a family to experience hope and restoration.

Fall is almost here, which means one of your favorite fundraisers is returning!

Keep an eye on our website and social media because our Trophy Buck Hunt tickets will be available very soon.

Congratulations once again to Kristy Franks, last year's winner! We wish you God's richest blessings this hunting season and hope you'll bring home another incredible trophy at Buck Run Preserve!

Every ticket purchased directly supports the work of Shiloh Operations and helps provide safety, hope, and restoration for mothers and their children.

One of the unexpected blessings God has opened has been through children's books.

Our CEO has begun writing a series of five faith-filled children's books, each centered around a biblical truth every child should know. Through the adventures of animals living on a farm, children discover God's love, His Word, and timeless biblical principles in a fun and engaging way.

So far, readers have enjoyed:

Honey & Layla's First Snow – learning how Jesus makes our hearts clean through Psalm 51.

Layla & Honey's Mischievous Mission – discovering God's provision through the miracle of the loaves and fishes.

And we're excited to share that Book Three is already in development! This next adventure introduces Joy, a beautiful kitty who faithfully greets everyone each morning with a joyful reminder of God's goodness.

Even more exciting, these books are beginning to reach children around the world!

  • The first book has already been translated into Afrikaans.

  • The Spanish edition will be available very soon.

  • Additional translations are already being planned.

Every book purchased helps support the ministry of Shiloh Operations, but beyond that, every story places the Gospel into the hearts of the next generation.

Thank you for helping us share the love of Jesus one child at a time.

We've recently made several exciting updates to our website!

In addition to making financial donations, you'll now find our Amazon Wish List, where you can purchase essential items that will help us prepare for the families who will soon be living at Shiloh.

Some of these items are needed to help us get started, while others are everyday necessities we'll always need, things like toiletries, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene products, and yes... our favorite "white gold"... toilet paper!

Every single item, no matter how small, helps us prepare a home where families will feel welcomed, loved, and cared for.

Thank you for every gift you have already given.

We're excited to announce that Shiloh Operations will have a booth at the Sweet Potato Festival in Ocilla this year!

If you're there, we'd love for you to stop by and say hello.

You'll be able to:

  • Purchase one of our children's books

  • Pick up your Trophy Buck Hunt raffle tickets

  • Learn more about Shiloh Operations

  • Enjoy a sweet treat while visiting with us!

We always enjoy meeting new friends and sharing the vision God has placed on our hearts. We hope to see you there!

Every ministry begins with people who choose to say "yes" to what God is doing.

As Shiloh Operations takes its very first steps toward becoming a safe haven for mothers and their children escaping domestic violence, we are inviting faithful friends to become Restoration Partners through a monthly recurring gift.

Monthly giving provides a dependable foundation that allows us to plan wisely, meet ongoing operational expenses, and prepare our home to welcome every mom and child with dignity, safety, and the love of Christ. Whether your gift is $10, $25, $50, $100, or any amount the Lord places on your heart, every recurring donation helps build a ministry that can faithfully serve families for years to come.

Ready to Become a Restoration Partner?

❤️ Give Monthly • Restore Hope • Change Lives ❤️

When you become a Restoration Partner, you aren't simply donating; you are investing in changed lives. Together, we can provide hope where there has been despair, safety where there has been fear, and the opportunity for a fresh start through the transforming love of Jesus Christ.

If God is leading you to walk alongside us in this mission, we invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a monthly Restoration Partner today. Your faithful support will help ensure that when a mother and her children reach out for help, Shiloh will be ready to open its doors.

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." — 2 Corinthians 9:7

Together, we can build a place where hope is restored, lives are rebuilt, and Christ is glorified.

While financial gifts and donated supplies are tremendous blessings, our greatest need has always been and will always be your prayers.

Please pray:

  • That we would walk in wisdom in every decision.

  • That the love of Jesus would overflow from every member of our team.

  • That we would remain sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

  • That we would always minister with humility, compassion, and grace.

  • That every mother and child who enters Shiloh would experience the transforming love of Christ.

  • That our lives would simply reflect His glory in everything we do.

This has become one of the greatest adventures we have ever taken with Jesus.

We have completely surrendered this vision into His hands. We recognize that we cannot accomplish any of this in our own strength. Our desire is simply to remain available for Him to use however He chooses.

May our lives be mirrors that reflect His goodness, His mercy, and His glory.

Because at the end of the day, this ministry has never been about us; it has always been about Him.

"He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives... to comfort all who mourn... and to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes." - Isaiah 61:1–3

If you are involved in a church, Sunday School class, women's group, or community outreach program, we would love to come and share Shiloh's heart and vision with you.
