Taking the Leap of Faith

Updated: Apr 3

On April 5, 2024, I took the plunge and handed in my resignation. This decision had been brewing for years, and I finally felt the calling to serve God full-time. Ever since my daughter and I were rescued from an abusive home, I've had this heartfelt desire to create a safe haven for women and children to heal and be restored to their true, precious selves. I realized that God saw more in me and my daughter, and that each of us is so valuable that He sent His only Son to die for us. It's a profound truth that we sometimes overlook in our daily lives.

So, I quit my job, and my plan is to work for God full-time. I had a conversation with the Lord, and told Him, "Where you need me, I will go, and where the door opens, I will walk through." And now, I invite you to join me on this journey to see God's incredible plan unfold, whether it includes heartache (which I'm all too familiar with) or miracles.

Shiloh, the shelter I'm creating, will be a safe haven for women and children who have suffered abuse of any kind – emotional, physical, sexual, or spiritual. I want to provide a place where they can learn about the amazing healing power of Jesus and be completely restored, so that they can one day step out in faith, whole again.

It's going to be an adventure, my friends, and I can't wait to see what God has in store. Buckle up, and let's dive in!
